Ingredients:

  • 10 tomatillos
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2 jalapeños
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Roast the tomatillos, jalapeños, and garlic on a hot comal or griddle until they are nicely charred, releasing their smoky flavor.
  2. In the Molcajete Yolia, start by grinding the garlic and onion until smooth.
  3. Add the roasted tomatillos and jalapeños to the molcajete and grind to your desired consistency—whether you prefer it chunky or smooth.
  4. Stir in freshly chopped cilantro and add salt to taste.
  5. Enjoy your salsa verde with your favorite dish or as a dip for chips!

Salsa Roja Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 5 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 dried chiles de árbol
  • Salt to taste
